Next, get familiar with basic composition. Think of your photo like a story. What do you want people to focus on? One easy trick is the “rule of thirds.” Imagine your frame divided into nine equal parts, then place your subject along those lines or intersections. It instantly makes your photo feel more balanced and natural.

Lighting is your best friend. Soft natural light, especially during early morning or late afternoon (often called golden hour), can make almost anything look magical. Try to avoid harsh midday light when shadows are too strong, unless you’re intentionally going for a dramatic look.

Don’t be afraid to experiment. Take the same photo from different angles. Move closer, step back, shoot from above, or get low. Photography is a playground, not a test. The more you explore, the more you’ll discover your own style.

Also, editing is part of the process. You don’t need heavy filters, just small adjustments like brightness, contrast, and color balance can bring your photo to life while still keeping it natural.
